SEO, How it Adds up Against the Costs

On average, our clients who utilise our services for search engine optimisation (SEO) see 450 unique visitors to their site each month. If you have a 5% success ratio (equivelent to print campaigns) in converting those views into clients, that means approximately 23 new clients each month. What is that worth to your business?


Research has shown that “searchers scan a search results page from top to bottom and left to right”. This means that appearing at the top of a search results page means that you are more likely to be seen, and consequently visited by searchers.


Back to our average client example, think about what 23 new clients each month is worth. What is the average transaction value of one of your clients? If your average transaction value is $100, then the payoff is potentially $2300/mo. If your average transaction value is $20, then the payoff is potentially, $460/mo.


With our SEO packages starting at $295/mo* both examples result in increased sales! Now take into consideration the value of reoccuring customers. If your service is a repeat service like a hair salon, and your clients come back every two months, then you are looking at 120 client visits per year from one months SEO (factored as 23 clients with a 10% drop rate = 20 reoccuring cleints).


Take those 120 clients and multiply by an average transaction value of, lets say $100 (which we know is cheap for a woman’s style and colour), and you are potentially looking at $12,000 in income, for one months SEO costs!
